No Lead is safe enough for my Giants

All the news that gives you fits. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!! If you bleed Giants blue as I do, then we were bleeding together on Sunday. This was de ja vue all over again except the Giants were the Eagles and The Titans were us. How could Kiwanuka NOT sack Titans' QB Vince Young? AAARRRGGHHH!!! He said he did not want a roughing the passer penalty. Listen Mathias, I played free safety in high school--you don't have to spear the QB and grind his head into the ground (though it does feel great when you do it and don't get caught--Ask LT about that Monday Night hit on Joe Theismann). Just get his knee to touch the ground as you gently cradle him to the ground. At least don't let go until you hear a whistle that signifies the play is dead.

Talking about not playing the whistle. Eveyone sez that Plaxico just stopped playing after that last interception. It's bad enough you just pulled up and stopped goin' for the ball, but how about trying to make a freakin' tackle! AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!

And what's with Strahan? You were right on the money saying that "PLAX WAS LAX!" You said it. It was true! Everyone who saw the films knows it's true! Why blame a reporter? Isn't that gonna be your future career? Suck it up! Be a man! Tell Plexico that the next time he decides "to let go" on a play, that he was awful.. Jeez, I coulda made that tackle.

And what about Eli. Everyone sez he's no Peyton, but in his first three years he has a better win/loss record than Peyton so far. Does he have to look like a deer in headlights? Early on the talk was that he was a fourth quarter QB--not last Sunday he wuz!?!? A little accuracy woud go a long way and get your head into the game! Part of it was the play calling. The clock is your friend when you have a lead in the fourth quarter, how about playin' some smashmouth football? You have one of the best backs in the league in the prescence of Tiki Barber. Why not grind out the clock with some running plays instead of throwing sitting duck long passes as if you were behind whose only result is bad; they stop the clock and as you learned, hopefully, can set up costly interceptions.

My wife sez it's all fixed anyway and why do I get myself all wound up each week? The way the Giants have been losing, I'm beginning to suspect that perhaps she might be right after watching the Giants take a few falls this fall.

Bottom line it all comes down to this Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Win and all is forgiven, the Giants are back in first place in the NFC East, we will have trounced Parcell, shut out and shut up T.O. There will be no more bickering about the bizarre stupid and often innane offensive play calling. If I were calling the plays I would let Tiki run and throw early and often to Shockey. Occasionally I would take a shot at the long ball to Plaxico, but he would have to convince me that he would start playing full tilt boogie, none of this HS "NO TAKE B.S." Maybe some of our injured starters will return to save the day. Can anyone say, "Giants' pass rush? How 'bout Giants sack the QB?"

See How simple it is? If the unthinkable should happen and the Giants lose--then it's game over and the Giants will become the new NY Yankees, Game over --Season over--a lot of fingerpointing and griping--see ya next year. Let's all hope that neither the Giants nor the Yankees turn into the abysmal Knicks! That's the News and my skewed views. What are your views?

O.J.--- Just Go Away

All the news that gives you fits. That's the message Rupert Murdoch sent out today, in so many words. It's unbelieveable that the Fox Network would actually demonstrate some discriminating sense of ethics and good taste. It's about as unbelievable as the democrats winning control of both houses--wait a minute… both of these things actually happened!?!? Are we living in some kind of Bizarro Universe where things actually occur the way they are supposed to?

Not quite. Big Blue (AKA The New York Giants) seem to have forgotten how to win a football game, dropping two straight games after winning five in a row. It might have something to do with seven starters out with injuries or as Mr. Ed states, "Eli is not Peyton!" The saga continues. I would sure appreciate some thrills of victory rather than the recent agonies of defeat.

So many of you out there in cyber land are gearing up for the BIG Thanksgiving Holiday. Don't forget this this holiday is about the Four "Fs": Family, Food, Football and Fun. That's right boys and grrls there are three (count 'em 3, III) football games on this Thursday now that the NFL network is broadcasting a game Thursday night. I've had the NFL Network for three years on my DirecTV satellite but never knew it. Now that there is something to watch, all I can say is that I hope it comes in HD.

So you are either driving or cooking. We are cooking and hosting this year instead of driving to Maryland, Virginia,or Owego, NY. The photos are of family who will be joining us.
Have a Happy Thansgiving to all. Enjoy the Four "Fs" and don't forget ladies Black Friday (the biggest shopping day in the world is nigh.

Turkey Day is on the Way-It's Time for a New Day

All the news that gives you fits. May the dawn of this holiday season initiate a dawn in the consciousness of the American public. May all realize that a new day brings a time for change this holiday season and to echo the words of Bruce Hornsby, "There's gonna be some changes made." I can't think of any better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than to get rid of the Turkey who has lied for the past six years and caused the deaths of over three thousand fighting American men and women. The time has come to hold those resposible, accountable. Check out Doonesbury in the November 19th, 2006 Sunday funny pages. "It's not that funny, is it?" to quote Linsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac fame, when you really think about it.

Talking about NOT FUNNY! What's up with this O.J. nonsense? "If I did it?" How macabre and insensitive is that? A tell all that's a hypothetical tell all at that. This is the kind of stuff that sickens me. We need to get rid of the turkeys represented by O.J. and Bush.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm celebrating with friends and family, I hope you are too. If for some bizarre reason you feel the need to find out a little bit more about me, check out my new iMac site:

The Fix of OH SIX (continued)

All the news that gives you fits. Well, no one picked Virginia or Montana so no one wins the prize, but those who played can get a CD of political tunes just by asking me. I won't give you all 85 songs on the iMix "Election Day Blues" but I will fill up one CD for you with the songs of your choice.

What is up with Virginia?? Concede already Allen!! Suck it up and be a man fer goodness sake!! What ? You can't believe that the fix was on and you still lost?!? Seven thousand votes is a big enough margin--Do the right thing for once--oh right-yer a republican--it's all about you.

What scares me are the absentee ballots in Montana. Hopefully, the fix of OH SIX will not tamper with them.

It's about time Bush fired Rumsfeld. Wasn't it just last week that Mr. Bush said that his boyz Cheney and Rumsfeld would be with him to the end of his term? Today Mr. Bush dismissed that statement as being just "election rhetoric." The man continually lies and Americans die. No one died as a result of Clinton's lying about his liaison with Monica Lewinsky--yet for that private indiscretion, he was impeached. Bush has been lying for six years. The American public has finally seen that the "emperor has no clothes" as witnessed by the republicans losing the House and as soon as Allen acts like a man, the Senate as well. As Neil Young sings, "Let's impeach the President for lyin..."

This is my top ten wishlist.
What should Nancy Pelosi do as the new Speaker of the House, three heartbeats away from being President.
(1) Impeach Mr. Bush for his crimes and lies against the American Soldiers and the public.
(2) Increase the minimum wage
(3) Abolish the AMT (Alternate Minimum Tax) or adjust it for inflation so that it kicks in at two million dollars instead of one hundred thousand dollars.
(4) Send body armor and adequate supplies to our men and woman in Iraq and Afghanistan.
(5) Find a way to save our soldiers and get them home safely first, and then solve the problems in Iraq.
(6) Fire Haliburton and all other blood sucking scum bottom feeders who are making money from the blood of our soldiers.
(7) Reallow photos of the caskets of our soldiers in the media again. Give them the honor they deserve for dying for their country instead of smuggling the bodies in like opiated hashish.
(8) Send money and aid to rebuild New Orleans--no more lies like "Atta boy Brownie." Really DO something, not lie about doing something and do nothing
(9) Fix the Medicare prescription debacle.
(10) Return the US of A to a position of Honor. Undo the worldwide damage to our good name that had been despoiled by Bush and his cronies.

Which state(s) will rig the 2006 Election Vote?!?!?!

All the news that gives you fits. In 2000 Florida was rigged and the Supreme Court appointed Mr. Bush as president. What a Travesty! In 2004 Ohio was fixed by the Diebold machines. Does it make any sense of fairness to have the man who is one of the largest contributors to the republican party to design the election machines? Come onnnnnnnn!?!!?

Anyhoo-here is your chance to vote (guess)--lately there's been no difference between these two words--which state or states will be fixed for 2006 to prevent the American Vox Populi from voting in a democratic house and a democratic senate. All votes must be in by midnight EST on Tuesday Election day November 7th, 2006. The winner(s) shall receive a free copy of the iMix "Election Day Blues" 85 songs (or winner(s) can pick and choose from the iMix). You can hear this iMix at Apple's iTunes. Go to iTunes, then go to music and then go to iMix and then type in "Election Day Blues" See, who said elections weren't' fun anymore? Results will be posted here on November 8th, unless things go back to the supreme court again, God help us.

Caveat emptor:
Just in case the transparency is even more obvious than 2000 and 2004 there will only be one winner picked at random.
